Suggestion for the Orchestrion

first off I love the Orchestrion. thank you for adding it!!

what I wanted to ask of people on the forums and the dev team watching.

would it be possible to:

1: set more than 1 song to play at random (up to like 3) that would change over
a certain amount of time.

2: choose an order in which the selected songs play

3: an option to prevent orchestrions from playing at all
[ ] Do not play Orchestrion when in other players houses

and that's it. those are my suggestions.

my only gripe is Twighlight over Thanlan was what it said it was, I was really excited to see this name in the obtaianable scrolls, to find it was not what i hoped it was.

it made me upset the gil i wasted getting the scroll on day 1, it wasn't cheap and it wasn't the song i hoped for. very nostalgic 1.0 song for me, and i hope they find a place to bring it back into the game.

Edit** after leaving youtube playing through 1.0 songs, and this being super selfish, I would love Legacy players to be able to have 1.0 songs, failing that the album "before the meteor should come with DLC scrolls"

That's because it was actually a bug - the 3 old 1.0 zone tracks orchestration rolls added in 3.3 were mislabelled, but the bug was apparently fixed in the hotfix patch last week.

It should also be noted that not all 1.0 music has even returned, Soken seems to be gradually reusing tracks as the situation demands, but so far the whole 1.0 OST has not yet returned.

But I'm still hopeful that some of my missing favourites will come back with the Orchestrion, such as Navigator's Glory, Born of the Boughs, The Forest's Pulse, Tears For Mor Dhona, Piece of Mind, Widdershins and The Seventh Gate come back in some way or form.

I want those too, and Unspoken as well. I had very high hopes that it would have been added to one of the Heavensward zones or dungeons. I will take it as an Orchestrion scroll though. It can fight with Twilight Over Thanalan to be the song I play the most in my house.

And Twilight over Thanalan was fixed. I bought one after the maintenance and it plays the correct song.

I really like the Orchestrion, however...

I'd like it if it played like a BGM, having the song in only one side of my headphones because i'm standing away from the orchestrion itself is tedious to my ears.

Yes its been adjusted from before, but still... it would be nice to have it just use the BGM settings instead.

A 'random' feature would be pretty neat. I'm not sure how difficult/awkward such a thing would be to implement though. I also hope that we get some of the Garlean themes added to the game. It's a little surprising that they haven't been added already, honestly.
