Reduce the level of "A Self- Improving Man" (level 50 Glamour unlock quest)

Would anyone else like to see this happen in the future? I know a lot of my friends are disappointed that they have to hit 50 before they can change out of their rather ugly levelling clothes. Yeah, we may lose the rite of passage that is "everyone wears a subligar", but I feel like reducing it to say.... 42 or something, around when you first get to Mor Dhona, would go a long way.

I do feel that the level should be reduced a bit, but I was thinking more of down to level 30 or so. I believe you can unlock dyes at level 15, so level 30 makes sense to take it to the next level. I do feel that having it at level 50, however, is unnecessarily high.

I would go a step further and also allow glamour prisms to be crafted from level 30 onwards as well - the book would be the reward from the lvl 30 DoH class quest. It's a level 30 recipe anyway.

Moving it clear down to level 17 would put being able to change your gear's appearance half way between being able to change its color with dye and being able to change it's stats with materia. That would kind of make the most sense. However, with so many things already happening and being unlocked in the 15-20 range, it might kind of get lost amid them all.

Unlocking it at around 25 or so puts it after that stretch up to 20 that has so many other unlocks, yet still keeps it fairly early in the game, so that could work well.

Level 30 puts it well into the game and would let you glamour for your new job around the time you first unlock that, which would be nice. (It can be a bit of a letdown to finally unlock a job, but have to wear gear that doesn't visually suit that job.) It also corresponds with the glamour crystals, which as Zojha mentioned, are level 30 recipes and really should be craftable at that point.

Putting it at 40 or 42 or whatever kind of has the same problem it already has at 50: that its awfully late in the game to be unlocking such a basic feature.

So I'd say to put it at either 17, the mid 20's somewhere, or 30.

I was pretty surprised when I finally got my crafting up to 50 and got the book that unlocks the prism recipes and saw how easy they were by that point. It was pretty weird having to reach level 50 in order to unlock level 30 content. Prisms are pretty trivial by the time we're actually allowed to make them.

Besides, getting the glamour prism book at the recipe level would give DoH something special at level 30. Battle classes get to unlock their associated jobs at that point, so it'd be kind of nice for crafting classes to get their first Master Recipe Book.

I think that was to help make up for the delay in getting that feature across, and to make it accessible instead of something only the most skilled crafters at the time can craft
