    Improving Linkshell Management

Can we get a way better manage our Linkshells? We have a Roegadyn Linkshell on Balmung. It is very active, and we constantly get requests to join but we are always maxed out at 128 players. We never know how to make room.

    - Currently we use the lodestone to find those players that have used fantasia to change to another race and remove those. We only get one of those 1 every month or two.

    - We have no way of determining if a player is inactive in the linkshell due to everyone being on at various times, or asking around if anyone talks to them or not. The only thing we have to go on is if they have any blank levels in their Jobs to show they've been offline for a while.

    - As a last resort we remove players without a job over level 50. I hate doing this because I don't know for sure if its because they've stopped playing or just don't have the expansion, and I'd hate to get rid of someone because they didn't purchase HW.

I would like it, if possible, if we could have at a minimum, the days since they were last online displayed in the member list of the linkshell. I don't want to ruin anyones social experience getting rid of the wrong people due to having to take a wild guess if they are online or not.

Major improvement possibility being a management window for our linkshells very similar to the FC window.

This would also be very useful for hunt linkshells as they fill up pretty quickly, but when people stop playing you can't really know and they get completely useless...

On Greg, our major hunt LS will kick players as they log out, enter dungeons, or start crafting. When you're ready to come back, you just need to find someone with permissions or /sh. Not sure if there's one like that on Rag, but it's a good system.

And I like OP's idea to display days since login. It would help out crafting LS' too.

Balmung does the same thing with hunts. You get invited and hunt and only hunt. If they see you not hunting, or in a dungeon or whatever, they remove you. You're supposed to let yourself out but people sometimes log out and not leave.

It seems to me that something in line with other game "timeouts" (i.e. Housing 45 days, retainer MB sales), there should be an option that linkshell leads can have for setting the linkshell to automatically remove players based on time since last login. Of course this would be optional. To go another step further, it could be a leader defined duration depending on the purpose of the linkshell.

That could be one way of working it, but it could also prevent us from keeping the people who go away for personal reasons and actually have let a LS lead know about it, or in the instance of our LS master, she is going to be gone for an extended period of time and for a good reason. I REALLY wish we could just be allowed to join multiple FCs. That alone would give us more members, better management, and better use of the LS house, which much of the LS doesn't even know is there, or how to get there.
