Lalafell should be able to be barefoot

yeah, we had this barefoot story and the sandals you can't take off a few times in this forum. in the end the argument ends always with "we need the sandals to adjust the height of the heel". this may be true for other races, but not for Lalafell. the Lalafell sandals are flat, there is no heel. it should be no problem to just replace them with a model of the bare foot - wich is already in the game, since we have seen Nanamo Ul Namo barefoot.

i know, some will say it is unfair to only let Lalafell be barefoot, yeah, probably it is is unfair. but on the other hand it is not more unfair than Lalafell have no tail or horns or whatever.
when a Lalafell is barefoot he looks even cuter, so it fits the race perfect. so it's race-specific - end of that discussion xD

So I do apologize for asking this, but I'm struggling to understand why this is relevant and am curious to know why this should be done when there are so many other issues with much greater importance to handle. It's possible that it might happen whenever the character design overhaul happens in 4.0 or whenever it was suggested, but I don't mind being forced to sandals if it means some reasonable content like apartments or final raids or other major content get done faster.

It's not really something I'm opposed to though. I just don't get it is all.

I'm all for this as long as they do it as part of what I call a "de-precious-moments-dollification" of their body model. Make with the hobbits or halflings!

Hmm... Correct me if I'm wrong. But I thought there were more races but lala that couldn't have horns/tails etc. =/

because glamour is true endgame xD i just want to play as a barefoot, shaman-like white mage :O

i have asked the question for being barefoot the first time in the beta-forum. sure, there is other content wich has to be done too. but there always is. it's 3 years now since i first asked for this.

and since the argument with the heel is causing so much developement time, i now try to ask just for lalafell, because there really is no heel, so it should not be that much of work to remove these sandals.

sure, they should. but if it's so much work like everyone said, why does the lalafell - where it is probably not that complicatet - have to wear these sandels too? it's both selfish, my question and your argument ^^

I would be against this is if it's not implemented for all races.
My character IS a lala, and I do wish to remove my shoes when I'm wearing a swimsuit, but it wouldn't be fair to others :/
