I'd say the best use of Duality is to use it during a burst phase, especially if you can time it to combo into a Trick Attack vuln proc with buffs like Internal Release and Blood for Blood. The second strike can't crit, but the additional damage is always good.

None of the strike can crit, actually.

You ideally want to time it so that Internal Release drops as you use Duality, so you don't waste any of the duration of IR on a skill that can't crit.
