Why is it a negative thing that I am willing to throw more money towards a game I play and love? That's all I'm getting from people when they shoot down people who don't care if vanity stuff goes onto the Mog Station...

Mog station shouldn't be the first thing asked for.

Add it to an event, a quest, maybe a limited time only thing.

You should only request things for the mog station when it's a thing that is no longer available (e.g. seasonal event items). Not for something we could yet get, and certainly not as a first resort.

Why people are more willing to throw their money at the screen than see if they can get it for free first is beyond me.

You can't have an event for everything. Outfits from other FF characters is basically novelty gear. What purpose would say, Tifa have coming to Eorzea? If they're going to do an event, I want it to be something unique to the world we play in. Tossing pure vanity pieces is how the MogStation should be used.

You asked for it as a cash shop item. You didn't ask for it as an event reward. Things that go straight to the cash shop are not available in any other way. Please tell me how I can get a Sleipnir or Bennu mount in-game.
