What if SE did a sort of second part to the promotion where we got themed weapons for glamour?
Have things like serving trays for the Paladin's shield, feather dusters to replace Ninja daggers or a mop for Dragoon's lance?

It may be a while before we get stuff like that again. All the Amazon promotion did was remind SE the playerbase can't be trusted with nice things. They did something for their JP players, we whined for months about how unfair it was, they gave us a way and players did what they do and exploited it. Not trying to White Knight it, just stating what it is.
I personally don't care but the way deals like that are done, basically the 1st company (SE) agreed to provide codes in exchange for the 2nd company's (Amazon) storefront. This act is called consignment, SE agreed to "sell" codes on Amazon's site as added bonuses to boost Amazon sales, in exchange for that SE agreed to a % of the sell to be paid to Amazon.
Example: SE agrees to add the code to a Playtime card already bought from SE by Amazon for retail sell, in order to boost the sale of that item. Assume the card was a $20 card. SE agrees to a profit split with Amazon for he right to sell the code on the site as a bonus. I don't know the real numbers but for the sake of argument we will say 80/20 split. So every card sold for $20, Amazon got $16 and SE got $4.
Now let's say it was a bigger item, say a $60 preorder, as that was the usual exploit. So Amazon got $48 for the preorder, and SE got $12, but uh oh.... the preorder was canceled. Amazon is fine as it still has the game to sell, but since the code was released to the player, per their deal, SE has to pay Amazon $12 because thats the deal. If the item is canceled, the transaction happened, and by US law, which is what rules in this situation, the item in question on consignment still requires the fee for placement in the storefront, hence $12.
So every pre-order canceled was money out of SE's pocket. Depending on the split and the most likely high price of some of the items preordered, we are talking a serious loss. People will most likely be fired over this all be it quietly.
I mean that's what this game has become. Everything gets replaced faster than Speedy Gonzalez in this game so it's all about glamours lol.
They already have the kettle knuckles so this wouldn't be that weird.
