I usually read the last entry in the MSQ journal because I can't remember where was the last place I visited, so I can go back to pick up the new quest and continue.

MSQ always starts in you main HUD. Like 2.0, it's the Waking Sands, 2.1-2.55 it was in Mor Dhor. 3.0-3.3 it's in the house with the guard station'd right outside in The Last Vigil area.

It's not that obvious when you're coming straight from the 2.0 MSQs.
All I knew is I had to go pick up the starting quest for the previous two patches. Before I always had one sitting in my Journal, so I could simply hit 'View map', and teleport there.

But I appreciate the tip Still, I remember the 3.1 quest being inside the Fortemps Manor (wouldn't show up on the map), and the 3.2 one was just outside the door. So you kind of have to remember where the last NPC was.
