Can't store furniture in FC chest anymore?

Is this a bug or an unlisted change? But post patch furniture from events or beastmen quests I cannot place in the FC chest for storage. It's a bit annoying since we like to redecorate often and it is already difficult enough without being allowed to remove many items because they will be destroyed....

Anything marked as "untradable" can't go in the chest (binding items can still go in).

Does everyone have a FC room? I'm using mine for nothing but furniture storage. It's a mess! I have found a neat way to trade furniture amongst friends. This is probably common knowledge but if they are tenants with rights to remove furniture you can place anything that doesn't get destroyed upon removal in any one of your houses and then have someone else come along and remove it. They then can place it in theirs despite it being bound.

Well no, but you can give FC members rights to remove furniture. At that point would they not be able to store that furniture in their FC room, provided they weren't really using it?

One used to be able to remove (granted you had the permission setting to do so) furniture and place it in the FC chest regardless of the trade status of the item. You can no longer do this, meaning the owner has to be the one to remove, store, or replace it. I can somewhat understand them making this change with the intention to prevent trading of items via the FC chest that otherwise couldn't be handed between players but it makes an unnecessary hurdle in managing FC homes. If removal rights are restricted or the other player isn't available, the only option someone has is to discard another players furnishing that they may not be able to ever get back, such as in the case of special event pieces.
