    While in agreement, the back of my mind is thinking "...does this really just mean I want a decent cloak?" (since I can find a similar enough body piece elsewhere).

    Not just the cloak but the weathered look of the rest of the armor. There are individuals in ishgard who have battleworn armor, with claw marks in them even. All of the armors we usually get are pristine.
