Zojha and loreleidiangelo (don't know how to make multiple quotes, sorry ^^") : Well the guy decided to play tank, not the easiest job on earth AND is abble to solo her, of course a ninj or a dragoon can't do it, but then, why not try tank ?![]()

People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.

The problem is that you're assuming the tank role is the most difficult to perform optimally by default. There are quite a few people that would disagree with you. More to the point, I'm not sure even a DRK Or a PLD would be able to achieve this either, and they're also tanks, so what's your point?
Just trying to highlight that the most skilled player in a raid isn't necessarily the last guy standing, is all.
Not at all, tanking myself, i actually find it easier than DPS ^^" (but i'm a weird person, and a crappy DPS ^^")
I just say that people usually don't want to tank because....well...because what ? i don't know, maybe responsabilities ?

Well, yes and...no ^^" most of the time ( i'm not saying all the time or everyone of course !) if you die, that means you messed something (AOE avoidance, mecanics, taking back aggro for example) thus, the last guy standing is kind of skilled no ? ^^"

Or the last guy standing has a crap-ton of defense, mitigation, and self-heals to cover up any blunders. Plenty of tanks who "stood in the bad" are the last ones left alive in Weeping City because, well...they're tanks.
Just having them is not everything, you need to learn how to use them efficiently, so many tanks i saw not using a single defensing CD...sometimes they are even more fragile than some dps !

My point isn't really about bad tanks or whatever, my point is that if it were a DPS in this same situation they'd be physically unable to salvage the raid, and no one would notice or care about their particularly exceptional skill.
tl;dr good job to the WAR, but let's not pretend they'd have been capable if this if they were anything BUT a WAR.

Yay more "WAR is the best tank" propaganda. We certainly haven't had enough of that.

This is easy as hell, honestly a warrior could solo this entire fight probably given ... 3 hours..
This isn't so much impressive as much as the boss is just really easy. Honestly think about it as long as you have decent gear and some HP regen/abilities this isn't exactly cookie worthy.
