That's no better than "I don't like it so it's bad." Your whole argument is that it's a "mindless grind". We get it, you don't like it. Don't do it then. I had fun getting my weapon because I just played the game normally like I did every other day. Did what ever content I wanted to, when I wanted to. I played the game and I enjoyed the game and I got a 210 weapon out of it.

Unsurprisingly, I did just the same, didn't get a relic, DON'T want a relic, and yet still got a 210 as well. Wow!

My stance isn't simply "it's a mindless grind, therefore it's bad", and while it may not be of relevance to you, I'd encourage you to please read some of the finer points I've raised. If not, that's fine. You got your relic. Congrats. I do not, and likely will not. Now or ever. But I won't be silent about it if there's an issue. And I won't make baseless assumptions of others who have issues with it, such as, "you just want things handed to you."

Yoshida himself could log in and open a trade with me tomorrow and I wouldn't want it.

What you are saying "I don't like it, I like stuff like Nidhogg EX. Now I'm going to complain because Relic isn't like Nidhogg EX."

Is there a type of content you like in this game that gives you a weapon? If you answered yes to this, why are you complaing that there is an alternate way to get a weapon which you don't like?

If you were a type of player that had absolutely 0 ways to get a weapon, I would take your complaints seriously. But you said you like challenging content so what's the problem if there is a type of content to cater to your likes and there's also a type of content that doesn't?
