Crossbar SHARING woes...please help! PS4

Hello. As the title says, I just cant seem to get a grasp on how to make this work properly. How exactly does this work? It seems I can only get crossbar 8 to copy over to my other classes/jobs. The only two crossbars I'd like to copy are 7 & 8 but 7 wont carry over to my other classes. Neither of these bars have class specific keys on them.

Is the function of crossbar sharing to carry over certain hotbars that are not class specific across all classes I have?

Do I have to manually add my hotbar 7 to all of my classes? I guess I just dont get how to operate crossbar sharing properly and after all my tinkering, researching, video watching, I just cant figure out how to work it properly.

Please, any help would be so appreciated. Thank you!

Hi Veilqa, in the settings you have the check box for sharing each hotbar.

If you want to share 7 & 8 between all classes, highlight those two. Once highlighted it will be blank and you need to add the skills.

Sounds like you might have put all the skills you want shared on to WHM hotbar 7 for example and you then try to turn on the option to share.

Not sure how many know about this but the hotbars and their shared versions are separate.

Character Config > Hotbar Settings > Sharing > Select the correct bar number ( cross hotbar since you are talking about controller, there is 2 sections to choose from )

Apply and it should share

Also incase you havent done it; you can turn on expanded controls so that holding (L2 then R2) brings up 8 keys and (R2 then L2) brings up a set of 8 as well, invaluable for a controller user

I cannot thank you enough for pointing this out to me: select share, then make any changes to the bar. Thank you soo much. It worked. Now I can get back to leveling!!
