Why only Red Scripts?

So is anyone else annoyed that the new Goblin Dice and Cups require red scripts and not red tokens? Or that there isn't a way to exchange tokens back for scripts? I have 94 red tokens for crafting and 50 for gathering. And they seem to be pretty worthless now. I am pretty annoyed. Or am I missing something useful?

Yeah I had about 110 red gathering scrips when the patch dropped.... in fact I had a feeling so that week I didn't exchange my scrips for tokens, haha.

But I think they did that specifically because people like us would instantly have literally everything + some, and well. Can't have that.

I've been using my scrips like this
Red Scrip token > Blue scrip tokens > relic sand

Honestly this means I get to skip that whole section and just gather eso for my relic instead of worrying about getting items for it.

trade them in for blue token, trade the blue token for 180 pants/shoes, desynth the 180 pants/shoes, swim in money

Its about balance. There are some people like myself who had over 5 stacks of Red Tokens saved up. I would have been in a full i200 set in the first 10min of the patch. The Goblin Dice/Cups are essentially new currency. Look at them as such and you shoudn't have any trouble understanding why they made this change.

Yeah they want the same pain to gear upgraded (about waiting week and week)

And also because they want all people to fall into the team that augmented stuff is good

Yeah, I am going to have to go the blue token exchange route. Still sucks. I understand the balance thing, but... man I was pumped thinking I was going to get to upgrade my gear and then BAM, denied.

Turned a whole lot of red tokens into blue tokens, then crystal for relic.
