Or as you wrote make your own linkshell/static for such things.

I had this problem as well when Sephirot came out. I was inactive at the time so of course I missed the train on that fight, but through countless PF training runs and whatnot, I got 7 other people who I had trained with and we cleared it. But that might have just been the 1 in a million chance to get.

Depending on how today's go I might just give up and get it done with our FC statik which raids savage. But I would seriously preffer getting it done without help of people who are farming it... I am no masochist either tho. It doesn't seem that players would suddenly follow PF description so chances are slim.
