So how do you feel about this quest? Was it enjoyable or not?

For me I found this quite nice as for once we can actually feel like the Warrior of Light the game constant makes our character to be only to have it stripped of its meaning for the MMO aspect of the game's experience.

Don't get me wrong I enjoy the MMO experience but when the story constant says our character single handedly defeated X Boss and X Primal alone without any help but in reality we actually had help (up to 3 or 7 others helping us) it starts losing a bit of the impact in the story.

I was disappointed because i did not get the memo that it was just a quest... and it didn't actually lead up to anything...

I thought they were really good at hiding the identity of the next trial boss.

Quite often in the story I noticed that it references you had help from other adventurers.

But if unrecognized help was your complaint, why do you reference this particular quest?

Cause we get to fight a heavily nerfed version of a normal dungeon boss solo?

I already said it in my OP that i enjoy the quest as it is a quest that actually put our character as the actual Warrior of Light.

While some events we have help mentioned for minor things there are Major events where in the Lore/story it is considered that we defeated these boss/primals alone.

Thordan, for example, story wise was defeated by the Warrior of Light alone without any help along with Ravana, ifrit, Garuda, Titan, Levianthan, and etc. Heck the entire Aetherochemicl Research Facility Dungeon leading up to the end of 3.0 final boss in story/lore perspective was that the Warrior of Light solo his way through the entire dungeon single handedly defeating all the boss and enemies in his path. It always felt out of place that these mighty creatures are said to be defeated by the Warrior of Light alone when we actually had help. Just once in a while it is nice we actually experience the story perspective of the events rather than a altered event through the MMO perspective.

I think I would have liked this if it wasn't part of the Warring Triad questline. Bismarck and Ravana EX, Sephirot, all of those were challenges to go through. Then we get this and just smash the face in of everyone, it was too easy!

Probably would have been Aetherochemical Research Facility Hard if they stuck with 3 dungeons per Major update. However, with 2 dungones per patch now not much we can do until the real Hard version appears in probably 5.X.

I really liked this actually... even the solo fight.
I can't wait till the next part of the story!

Good to see SE doing more solo instances in this game. I personally like it because it felt like this is something the WoL actually does alone and it fits the story. So SE do more solo instances its really good for story.

The quest did surve its purpose as a Character development and story progression for Warring Triad Storyline. Not to mention cover the current position of the Garleans as they have yet to fully repair their new Capital Flagship the Gration and while it is being repaired they are constantly raiding the place for any Allagan technology and knowledge.

The Warring Triad Story would have been part of the Main Scenario in 3.X due to it relating back to important events in 3.0 but since they separated it into a side storyline for 3.X, and one that is quite important as it shows what the Garleans are doing in Azys Lla, it is a welcome quest in my book.

With the Gration purpose is to replace the Agrius for the future Garlean Invasion it is only a matter of time before the Gration is operational again and things begin to lead into the next Garlean Invasion of Eorzea which if 4.0 is Ala Mhigo we may experience as the 4.X storyline.
