    Before 1.20 launch, Can Dev team consider make next Primal Harder & Harder?

    Ifrit is great design that I like it. It's like an action-game boss,
    Too bad it's such a short fight when we know how to fight it. (mostly under 10 mins),
    (Personally I think) Low drop rate is fine, but it's not ethical to keep us getting repeat weapon.

    1.20 will be out soon with 'charge fee', I would suggest dev team make next
    primal fight that is 'SO HARD / SO MYTHICAL', that it'll take the most skillful player/LS at least 3-4 weeks to understand it. And even we beat it, every next time of beating it need a considerable time/skill as well.

    I think maybe someone has post such idea before, but hope dev team can read it again , think about it before launch 1.20.

    PS: I don't think need to worry too much about new player, they've lots of thing to do before they reach r50 Primal fight (stronghold/darkzeld/materia/World NMs/Faction Leve NM/rank up jobs/craft... etc)

    Yoshida already said the next primal fight is harder then ifrit.

    They could just drop Absolute Virtue in the game and watch people suffer for years while patching any method used to defeat it if its not the exact way the devs intended for the fight to go.

    Yeah that was fun.

    Personally I'd like to see the fights get smarter not harder, and Ifrit was a good start.

    Ok fights shoul be smarter, yes but also a little harder, by about 1000 more hp on the moogle primal.

    I dont think the fight should be harder once you know how to do it. Just make it harder to find out how to beat him. make all former strategies useless.

    If you have it to hard its just going to stress people, piss them off and turn your customers away, making it harder makes it less accessible to most. So when it comes down to it, the player is thinking "Do I really want to pay for this?".

    While you may think its easy and now everyone knows tactic, doesnt mean people winning it 24/7 100%, half my shell can barely beat it and lots of my friend still havent with countless deaths. Lets make something even harder and annoy them.

    As for smarter, well then it just becomes a bit more about how tedious you get it because even if you make a fight very smart, requiring lots of different things to happen or you to do, it will eventually boil down to a routine, just like ifrit, people know what to do, when to do it, where to stand, where not to stand, at what time, what time he takes a shit, it all eventually boils down to a queue.

    I miss tier bosses, in old FF games, where you fought 1 boss, thought it was over and bam it transforms into something, it was a change, but even that cant be smarter or tougher, but its different!

    You have to make something enjoyable before you make it tough, challenging and smart.

    It took BG something like 100+ tries to defeat Ifrit and at the time it was pretty difficult.

    Anyone can look back after beating something and knowing how to beat it and say oh its easy now.

    I am in favour of challenging content but you have to be careful what you ask for or like someone above said we are going to end up with an AV situation again.

    Yoshi already said Moogle will be harder than Ifrit so we will just have to wait and see.

    This content should be more about fun IMO and enjoying a fairly difficult encounter with friends etc, it shoudn't be the kind of thing that is so difficult that people are throwing themselves at a wall for weeks getting evermore pissed off with it, thats how you lose customers.

    I agree with the above posters. I believe that the battle planners should look at the whole thing and think

    Guy 1 : "How do we make this battle more fun?"

    Guy 2: "Hmm...I think we should make his moogle hug hit a wider area and Kupo Nut should heal twice the HP it is currently healing, but can be stopped by blah blah blah. This should spice things up and make it harder"

    Instead of

    Guy 1 : "How do we make this battle harder?"

    Guy 2 : "Give him an unblockable instant kill move and double his HP lol. "

    Also, just to point out the the billing cycle won't start until after 1.20 as Yoshi has said many times that he wants players to experience 1.20 and decide for themselves if it's worth sticking around

    That does not mean much, I've yet to try Ifrit and its been over a month. A lot in the same boat, a lot yet to complete him a month after (A lot only just completed the rank 45 dungeon, including myself, thats a couple months later)

    Think Yoshi will wait a month to a couple months for people to make their decision?

    If the fight takes about a month to figure out like people want, then no you wont get chance to "try before you buy" because you wont get chance to try it.

    So it will be "Shall I pay to keep trying to get there and try and keep fighting and losing and ending up with dumbass items i dont need (tho i know this loot is being fixed)"
