Early Pulling - Is it wrong?

The sad thing is, the people who pull early without checking to see if others are ready or on the way, will just end up earning very bad reputations for themselves. I have already seen this... You'd be surprised how little "courtesy, patience, or respect" others will have for you when you act like a selfish jerk all the time.
So, the next time your looking for assistance don't be surprised when your fellows decline to aid you (or dont even know you exist because half the server's blacklisted you -- yes Ive seen this too...) because they remember your the disrespectful person who couldn't wait a few minutes for the benefit of others.

So really, just let them do what they want. They'll get run out sooner or later.

There's a guy in Ragnarok that always pulls as soon as he gets there, everybody knows him and he's been blacklisted by hundreds of people.

I do hunts, I play on Ragnarok and I have no idea who your talking about so 'everyone knows him' is not true. I highly doubt any single individual can be at every hunt and be the person who pulls at each. It is not griefing to pull at any given time, it might be stupid to pull when not enough people are there because you will just die though. It is however harassment if name shame with shouts as a way to single someone out for abuse and such, it is harassment to send abusive tells to someone and it is harassment to keep resetting a hunt to prevent people from killing it. Those three things are reportable.

Pulling and not waiting for you/me and/or your/my friends is not. I personally wait a few minutes after enough people have turned up to actually beat the target but I will not wait there all day for stragglers and there is no official amount of time anyone has to wait. If I do not make it in time I don't get my knickers in a twist over it though, I am not entitled to force everyone to wait for me and if I see anyone name shaming someone as a way to target them for abuse I will report the person name shaming. To be honest there is way too many people hiding behind the excuse of "consideration" or using the term "early pulling" as a smoke screen for actually meaning "they never waited for me" in here.

They don't wait for me either and quite often I don't make it in time but so be it, no big deal. I have no intention of harassing people over it. Hunt mobs are not finite, they spawn all over Eorzea, most spawn every few hours in regards to A ranks, the S spawn generally every day or two days but they also require more people to actually kill it so people wait longer for people to arrive on those. It would be nice if SE added more hunt mobs in this game and maybe increase the spawn rate, remove the link to gear progression so that people only do them because they enjoy doing them, perhaps introduce a level sync to them too but I am not entitled to take part in every one that spawns plus I don't get to dictate how long everyone should wait and neither does anyone else here.

Basically every 500 centurio seals = unstained clan mark book which = 5 of them = one of the upgrade tokens from taking a lore piece to 240.

Also 1000 of them equals an item for anima weapon upgrade. Hunts are one of the few things that should not be linked to gear progression in this game in my opinion, it should remain only those who enjoy hunts doing them for the enjoyment of it to prevent the issues we have every time SE adds a new (current) gear progression reward to them including zerging, harassment and self entitlement issues.

Just because it's not illegal or against the rules doesn't mean it's not a dick move.

There's a line somewhere. Some people don't care at all about others getting there for the goodies. Some people would rather wait all day to make sure that every single person that wants it gets there. Both are bad.

Oh god...just realised something from shouts... people think this new rmt report feature is something they can use for "early pullers". God SE's gonna remove it so fast. This is why we can't have nice things.

Oh god...just realised...SE won't even act on reports of early pullers because they aren't violating ToS. You're worries hold no weight and will have zero impact on the right click report function. The GMs who review the reports are why we can have nice things.

Edit: To avoid making another post...I'm extremely thankful for the people on Mateus who are courteous and do wait for everyone to arrive before pulling. There are a few occasions here and there where there will be people who pull extremely fast and do not allow time for everyone to gather, but in my experience, and I hunt A LOT, at least 98% of the time people are very patient and respectful of everyone on Mateus.

Except they said it's automated. If enough reports come in, people get sent right to jail.

Waiting a minute isn't going to kill you. I'm not saying you have to wait for the entire damn server to pop up.

Waiting 1 minute is not going to change the fact that the majority of people are going to say you pulled early. And it doesn't change the fact that expecting someone to wait for you is selfish. You can hope they wait for you. But expecting them to, and becoming vocally angry at them when they don't? That's pretty selfish. You're being inconsiderate to that person. They might have to go soon. They might want to play the content as it was intended. Try thinking about more than one side of the situation.

All I'm seeing from the collective hunt LSes is "me me me."
