What? Since when are people finding hunts for me? News to me.Some Hunt parties are spread out into multiple zones trying to find these Hunts for you. Not giving these people enough time to even teleport into the zone and fly to the mob is considered "early-pulling" and shunned upon; especially by the people actually putting in the effort to look for them.
I think you took the "you" part too literally. Hunts don't find and report themselves. If no one is looking for them then no one gets to kill anything.
No one is obligated to sit there staring at a Hunt for five minutes. There are no rules to this system. There is no policing. Heck, every Hunt is completely different depending on distance, rank, and even time of day. However, I'm talking about the absolutely clear instances where the exact same player arrives and pulls so early that it could almost be considered psuedo-griefing and disrespectful to everyone involved. It should be clear that while Hunting you become aware of the pressence of "The Train" Also known as the majority of players who arrive at roughly the same time to every pull. If someone is pulling the Hunt so early that no one in 'The Train' is even close to arriving; then I personally consider that a strike against common decency.
Though I'm only talking about the minimum time to wait. The maximum amount of time really has no reason to be discussed. (IE. It's impossible to wait for everyone.)

Some take hours to spawn like Semerov with the Cerfs Fates and others like Pale Rider take money for maps to do so as well. Spawners should in my view be calling the pull time for a hunt they spawned and not some DO NOTHING who shows up and face pulls the minute they get there. Being courteous to others and the spawners isn't that difficult although some really don't care about anyone but themselves.
You're still looking through the viewpoint of one person and expecting everyone else to fall in line with it without knowing this person or being in party or linkshell with them. There can't be a "minimum wait time" without a defined start point, and that's going to vary by person. This is why there's always someone crying foul; you can't do a system like this when there's no way to inform absolutely everyone of the hunt location at exactly the same time.
Sure, there's no magical minimum start time. And you are more than welcome to face pull a Hunt someone else found. But if you are giving absolutely no regard to the large Train of players that -ALWAYS- arrives within 60 seconds. Well.. just like you are free to pull anytime you want; they are free to blacklist you for waiting on absolutely no one.

Yup, not like I'd want to deal with those kinds of players anyway. Though for the record I almost never pull a mob, I'm never in that much of a hurry. But to think someone should have to wait or could be reprimanded for not waiting is absurd.Sure, there's no magical minimum start time. Actions have consequences. Community standards and all that. Just because there's no explicit rule doesn't mean players can't take their own actions against it (within the rules).
There's no explicit rule that says you can't cut in line at the bank.
There's no explicit rule that says you can't steal that old lady's parking spot that she's been waiting on.
There's no explicit rule that says you can't drive 50 in the fast lane.
But if you do you're going to be viewed as a dick and treated as such.
LOL! I must have missed that memo too.
They're so altruistic. It's all for the benefit of others, and has nothing to do with their own selfish desires...Have you ever watched that TV show - Mystery Diners - where they use hidden cameras and actors to smoke out cheating employees at restaurants? Almost invariably the wrong doer will claim that they were only doing it to benefit the business, or as a surprise for the owner, despite the fact that it was obviously all about enriching their own pocket. Every time one of these hunt threads comes up and someone claims that hunt parties are doing this for everyone, I am reminded of the targets of the Mystery Diners...
