There's no rules you can break but there is something to be said about common courtesy.

Sure it's not a technical term listed by Square-Enix in the User's Manual, but 'early-pulling' does have a meta meaning among the player base. In general it's polite to wait the same amount of time that it takes to get from the nearest Aetheryte Crystal to the Hunt in question. So usually about 60 seconds from the moment the Hunt is found. Some Hunt parties are spread out into multiple zones trying to find these Hunts for you. Not giving these people enough time to even teleport into the zone and fly to the mob is considered "early-pulling" and shunned upon; especially by the people actually putting in the effort to look for them.

And thus a new patch cycle appears and people figure out that Hunts will be the fastest way to finish new content. Sharing these Hunts with multiple Hunting parties by waiting 60 seconds after finding one is a win for everyone involved. Hurray for teamwork! *lightning bolt* The dreaded 4pm strikes as a troubled child get's home from prison school. Tossing his homework into the garbage he turns on a third party program, and begins to facepull everything that he didn't find himself. The heated angry /shouts begin as even the dedicated Hunters aren't given enough time to even get a Shield Lob off. [I happily /blacklist these types of impatient / selfish people. They sure aren't a personality I would want to play with.]

There are some notable exceptions however:

    - If two Hunts spawn at that same time people are afraid of missing one so they'll pull as fast as possible so they have enough time to get to both.

    - If you play on a PS3 without an SSD, and have 50 second load times between zones, then you probably won't make it to many of these Hunts and it's not the fault of an early puller.
