Early Pulling - Is it wrong?

I feel like they should give the A and especially S rank hunts a TON more health, to compensate for player gear at this stage.

I think it would help give arriving players a bit more time to load-in, but aside from that, it doesn't feel right to me that an S rank hunt is down in 10 seconds. There's nothing really epic about that - the strongest and most elusive monsters in the world are essentially loot piñatas? While that's cool from a certain perspective... it's still kind of cheap, and lame, imo.

That's because it was never meant to be fought by more than around 20-30 people. But people try to accommodate up to 10x that many.

If they need to do anything it's change hunts so that A's and S's have to be force spawned with full groups(16 for A's, 24 for S's). The feature wasn't ever intended to support more than that.

If the puller is not the tank and the tank is not ready, then yes, it is wrong. Early pulls (like in 24 man raids) can kill all.

But during hunt you only have to wait until your party is ready, not the other parties.

I think its time for Square to make changes for the hunt system. The first thing I would do is make some kind of a hunt claim system. You would have to use a simple tool to claim your hunt, and after a short amount of time, you may proceed to kill. During that short time, combat will be prevented. I would suggest a three minute time on A Ranks, and a five minute time on S Ranks. This could still be abused, people might start leaving players with other hunts in order to "claim them", but this was the best thing I could think of. Early pulling should be prevented.

You could wait for the entire server population to gather on an S rank and some asshole will still think you're an early puller.

the least you can do is anounce it and wait 2 minutes .

The group that finds it first has right to do it, not everyone.

Sorry but i have to disagree, most people don't search for hunts, they just wait for call on LS or FC and then go hunt, they contribute nothing to finding the hunt and then they think they are entitled to it while others had the work.
