Don't need to be snippy, IIRC implies the information might not be 100% lol. Correct me and move on, no need to go Noooot agaaaain!Again with people misquoting this. Once more, the problem was NOT giving us 3 jobs for HW, the problem was giving us those 3 jobs DIRECTLY after NIN. We still have a strong chance at 3 jobs for 4.0.
Also again, all signs point to SAM, RDM, and BLU. And I -REALLY- hope we get BLU.

I assume the classes in the expansion (if 3) will be:
- Red Mage as DPS
- Blue Mage as Healer
- Samurai as Tank
I suppose these are what some people are already expecting.

BLU as a healer makes no sense, like literally none. Almost all Blue Magic spells are offensive in every game, off the top of my head I can recall like three healing spells they commonly learn ever and tens of damage spells. If anything RDM makes more sense as a healer as that was it's common role in FFXI, but even that's a huge stretch.
Odds are we just don't get a healer this expac unless they bench BLU for DNC or something. Which I doubt will happen as they've yet to hint at DNC in any capacity and DNC isn't typically a dedicated healer either.
I know it doesn't but it's the only Job that came to my mind having healing and support spells and Yoshi said he would like to do it.BLU as a healer makes no sense, like literally none. I don't know about the Dancer class, i don't remember playing a FF game that had it so can't comment on it.

I don't recall Yoshi EVER saying he wanted BLU to be a healer. I only remember him mentioning the job would be very difficult to implement and he mused on the idea of it being a solo play only thing. Never anything on it being support or a healer, do you have a source?
Also as I said, RDM has a plethora of healing and support magic available, but still I see that being a DPS too.

Odd as it may be, I would love to see a Dancer equivalent tank whose primary niche is using evasion for damage mitigation or potentially avoiding attacks outright. Obviously, this would be quite difficult to balance, but I'd love to see more unique jobs.
I got cheated by it rogue becoming NINJA. And not THF. So a dancer would be my second choice to switch my main class from Warrior. Which I've been playing for to damn long and don't find it as fun anymore. However quick ques and my time means something to me is why I keep playing it.
Sam no interest in.
Red mage also very little interest in.
Beastmaster would be fun. But I don't see anyway of it working in FFXIV. It would be to similar to SMN in my mind the way they are currently doing things.
Bluemage the game would need to be reward to much to make it fit. O you don't have XXX ability because you never learned well you rotation is broken without it.
Commendations.
If I play dps I only give it out to other dps.
If I play tank I only give it out to healers.
If I play healer I only give it out to tank.
Only if they should be getting a commendation.
There are always exceptions to the rules!
