    A Healing Mage class with a Prism for a weapon an themed around colors.

    RDM would use a Rapier an focus on Thrusts instead of slashes (and use it as a wand)

    BLM might use something not considered a weapon like AST, ACN and my Color Healer idea above, maybe a compendium of Monster DNA. Alternately they might use Runes

    Dancers would probably be like BRD in their their weapon is both a Musical instruemtn and a weapon. Something like Marracas+Clubs

    We don't need more tanks, well considering that it's the class that takes the longest to fill slot on DF it wouldn't hurt, more people playing Samurai (if tank), more dps only would just hurt the already crippled DF times.

    Well, of the five FFXI expansions, two of them only introduced 2 new jobs each, and one of them didn't introduce any new jobs at all. You're definitely right about the Rising event, though. It would be pretty annoying for them to practically guarantee two jobs, while heavily hinting at a third, and then only introducing two new ones.

    I hope that they don't feel pressure again to come out with 1 Tank, 1 DPS and 1 Healer. They said previously that they felt it was necessary to do that to avoid huge queues for DPS classes when new jobs were introduced, but I'd much rather deal with that very temporary problem than deal with the permanent problem of jobs not having proper identity. I'm really hoping that they worry more about what new jobs would be fun to play, and work in the game in the long run, and less about how the new jobs will effect the duty finder when the initial rush happens.

    Sticking to the idea of hinted at jobs and following the story, I think we're likely to see one of each role again.

    Tank: unfortunately samurai, although because Yoshi p seems to have wanted it dps, I think following the lore a engineer type class would work. Utilizing magitek to tank or a judge style class wielding gunblades.

    Healer: I would say rdm along with support aspects because it's a class that's been hinted at, however I definitely think dancer would make a fantastic variance to the healer role. Utilizing moves that can regain it's tp.

    DPS: again slightly hinted at was blue Mage, which is honestly one of my favorite classes but I'm terrified with how the class will play in ffxiv. If samurai wasn't tank I could see it being here. But again as something following ala mhigo, a mercenary class that dual wields swords like raubahn.

    At lastly, I know majority of people don't care about DoH or DoL, but I think we could really benefit from a trapper class. Where you would utilize different traps and baits to catch monsters for hides, bones, and misc mats. It would give players a way to obtain these items with more certainty and incorporate a bestiary giving monsters more lore.

    I am more interested if there may be more info on Doomtrain since Yoshi-P already confirmed Doomtrain will be arriving in FF14 as a future content.

    I'm pretty sure he stated in a later live letter that the Doomtrain may be in the Garlean empire, and that it also might fly. So we might be waiting a bit for that one.

    Req- Level 30 Alchemist Level 15 ACN
    Totem-like healing with plants that grants regens and ranged dps. Grenade launcher type weapon throwing AOE ground targeted potion heals.

    Red Mage - Tank
    Req- Level 15 WHM Level 15 BLM Level 15 GLA
    Possibly using black magic like abilities for taunting, low hp with decent self healing abilities, shield for parrying abilities.

    Dancer - Ranged DPS/Support
    Req- Level 30 Weaver Level 15 ROG
    Channels dancing (Should be able to move during) for group buffs. Uses darts or throwing knives, applies DOT poisons.

    Geomancer - Caster DPS
    Req- Level 30 Miner Level 15 BLM
    Skills that change based on terrain like the original fft. That might be a lot of work however, perhaps skills that change based on type of stone equipped on off-hand. Traditional bell weapon to channel spells.
