I've met many good people, so many that I wouldn't leave my server. And I even met my girlfriend on here and she is quite wonderful, and I thank god for putting her in my life. You get a lil more satisfaction out of the game when you play it to help others, rather than play it to grind.

She was the one that in my times of grinding would calm me down with simple things like, fishing, and fixing up the furniture in our house, and crafting together. I wouldn't be the crafter I was if it wasn't for her...

And wouldn't be the crafter I was if it wasn't for the generosity of my raid group. That's the long answer, and the short one is yes, many friends you will find. Sadly it helps to be good at your job lol. Cause I've even seen some of my "friends" be cruel at some times lol. Even in my FFXI days I always said... The game is only as good as the people you play around with, and the people you know. Without a good linkshell, or a good FC, its an entirely different beast that may result in you being alone and quitting.
