    Useless mch cross class debate

Rules are you cannot talk avout b4b hawk or raging strikes or any other cross class. In your opinion which is the better out of 2 which is keen flurry or quelling strikes on a situation. Please debate below.

Is this even debatable? Only time you would ever use keen flurry on Mch is for soloing. Quelling strikes would be more beneficial for any other scenario.

Quelling strikes. The enmity reduction means less holding back with your burst.

Odd question. MCH burst is nice, but not enough to rip hate from tanks, so Quelling is out. Not even sure why you would take Keen either...

In my opinion, neither are good...

I think the competition for 5-th slot goes between quelling strikes vs feint. This is in case if we use 4-th slot for invigorate. With current tp costs an idea to remove invigorate and take quelling strikes and feint may sound more realistic, but it's still too risky for me. (in a raid context. In dungeons invigorate is must have for aoe-s).

Just take Quelling if you only have eyes for Quelling or Keen Flurry. In most content especially in groups how often will Flurry be used? Probably never.

Quelling only serves to ensure you don't rip hate off the Tank but on the same token if the Tank is on his A game you won't need Quelling either. And only maybe seems relevant on BLM.

Not much to debate here. One skill is to give 20% damage reduction against physical attacks and as a ranged class you shouldn't be doing this often unless it's touchdown attacks from say Nidhogg. And as I stated before Quelling is just a safety cushion if your Tank just sucks at Enmity control or their gear is just not on par.

If the spot for the 5th crossclass belongs to a different skill than the 2 you've listed it's completely fine to say that. You can't just go making up arbitrary rules like that.

Also seconding feint as a sure 5th: raging strikes, b4b, invigorate, hawk's eye, feint. With 6th place being quelling and a distant last being keen flurry. If you *need* quelling because you have a bad tank that's a different story, but doesn't make it a better skill.

If you are up against an enemy that does a lot of magic damage (pretty rare in this game) then definitely take keen flurry because it will parry like 90% of the magic damage, like a super apoc. But in general, it's helpful not to have quelling strikes because if you use it, then the DRG is next in line for aggro when the tank dies. Better you than that poor floor DRG since you can kite. Vortexer cannot hit you while you are kiting, just attack with GB off and you'll be fine.
