Didnt know where else to post this and frankly I dont care if i get flamed, forum banned, etc over it.

I came to Eorzea to enjoy my time and life here. To be free to be the little Au Ra i currently am. I can't do that anymore. I am scared of the game and the community enough that I avoid it because twelve forbid I might be reported and banned for trivial opinion based bullshit. If SE caters yet again to the vocal whiners, i am done with SE as a whole. XIV was great at first but ever since Coil 2 and the savage releases its been slipping into this... toxic pool that just keeps getting worse.

For the sake of Eorzea and MMO standards as a whole, SquareEnix and Yoshida, please for the love of Halone, stop bowing down to those who scream the loudest. It's those of us that stay quiet and try to enjoy what we are given that really appreciate your work and enjoy the story. I am begging you, make XIV the way you envisioned it, not the way everyone "wants" it.

Then more people need to speak up then. You can't speak for "those that do not speak" if they don't speak up to begin with or if they even share the same views as you.

XIV is a sub based MMO. Pretty sure it's wise of them to get community feedback to retain those subs.

They honestly dont read the ingame feedback stuff. They listen to the forums and fanfest and the live chat feeds during live letter Q/As.

They rarely, if ever, do that either tbf. A common complaint is that Yoshi-P and co. will only change something if a massive amount of people agree with it, you can see that in how quickly WAR got fixed vs how quickly PLD got fixed. Even if it is highly requested they can still ignore it or make an excuse not to implement it. If you want XIV to stay how it is now, you'll probably (largely) get your wish, so I wouldn't worry too much.

Honestly TC, I don't even know what you are asking for, you are being too ambiguous. I've seen SE doing things players asked that was a bit silly and spoiled (imho), but then I've seen also good things. I strongly feel your frustration comes from a very specific situation (forum ban?) yet your request is too general and ambiguous. Let's suppose you are Yoshida now, what would you do? "This guy is right, let's stop reading our players' feedback, we might as well delete the forum altogether".
What is it that you want exactly?

Quite honestly my issue is the bowing down everytime someone screams that things are too hard things and now they are too easy. The we want a free ride (potions) the we want to be the elite of the elite (gating off of items behind savage ONLY, never releasing anything equivalent or upgrade items in anything below EVER). The people whom demand things be rebalanced so their specific play style is the ONLY player accepted play style (Again referencing the STR/VIT tank battles). People demanding PS3 support be dropped (not that it would ever change anything, kicking it off wont make the game prettier).

My request is not so much to ignore everyone else, its more a requets to listen to EVERYONE not JUST those that scream the loudest (i was told by a dev once that if you want to be heard you have to have a massive following which isnt fair considering some things wont be supported if the trolls dont like it)

Issue is is that when we DO try to give feedback we get reported and forum banned 9/10 times. It's happened to several of my friends hence why we are "quiet". We are silenced by those that prefer to abuse the system so that we can't be heard so they can keep going on about getting their way. that is also why I have been quiet until now because I have nothing to lose anymore, if a bunch of jerks wanna report me because I may damage their current style of gameplay and end up getting me forum banned then i really don't care so why not try to make my stance and if I fall then at least I didn't lose anything because of it.
