Could we get a drop buff for some of these older items? Things like Nymian Orbs, fine wax, manor wax, frosted glass lens, etc. Now that housing is slowly becoming a bit more accessible (esp with 3.4 looming in the future), none of the furniture is there to meet the demand. Even if you run a dungeon unsynced you still might just get trash instead of the item. Been running WP for the Nymian Orb and have only received 3 out of the 19 times so far. Each lantern takes 6 orbs to make. I could be looking at over a 100+ runs if I want 4 or 5 lanterns in my house at this rate. MB is also has low to no stock as this is older content. The frosted glass lens if from maps, but no one does the low level ones because of new content like Aquapolis.

Fine wax does not need a buff to drop rate. I just today coincidentally had to farm some to make a couple manor flower stands. I turned on unsync mode and ran a couple haukke manor level 28 dungeon runs. They drop from chests and quite early on in the run too, it took me around 5 minutes each time to gain 3 fine wax in each run which is not that bad. I also recently sold some frosted lenses because I did some treasure maps for fun. I cannot say what things are like on your server but all types of treasure maps on my server get bought and done quite often even the lower leveled ones. Some things probably could do with increasing the amount but fine wax isn't one in my opinion and frosted lenses are not an issue on my server. Something to keep in mind is any buff to drop rates has to take into account ALL servers supply and demands because any change will impact them all, a change because one server has supply issues could cause problems on one that does not for example.

on my server frosted glass lens is 175k at its lowest and only 34ish of them on the mb. Fine wax at its lowest is 55k+ (sold in a stack of 3or more for 165k+). Nymian Orbs are 70k+ each and only 9 people selling them. Some things like the orbs and varnish only come from the 50 dungeons and those tend to be slower to run unsynced, not too mention they don't always drop.

The fine wax will come down with time and are easy enough to farm yourself (make sure to look up which chest it drops from, only go that far and reset or you'll really feel the rng). A lot of the items you have to look ahead at when new housing is being made available because everyone's going to want the items, which means the cheap stuff is going to sell fast and the price is going to jump while demand is high. Unfortunately the frosted glass lenses will likely start becoming reasonable near the next housing increase so they'll likely get chewed up by crafters/resellers. I'd like to see those dropping in the dragonskin map portals (replace those cruddy tier3 materia drops) and possibly an alternative for the nymian orbs as well. If you wait long enough the nymian orbs should drop down, but there's usually not many up.

Those prices are similar to my server's. However they were much lower prior to 3.3, we're still in the wake of new housing wards inflation. Frosted glass lens will settle around 40-50k in a month's time.

Almost sold a frosted glass lens but then decided to keep it when I looked up what it made. Crap those things used to be cheap! Same with things like the Mog whisker. I don't know if the drop really needs to be adjusted. It's kinda nice to see prices up where they should be for rare items. It just bites when you need them yourself (especially in multiples). There's that supply vs demand thing again.

Those Frosted Glass Lenses are a killer. They're supposed to be one of the cheaper items, but have wound up being prohibitively expensive.
