Info about the Chinese Cash Shop "Level Jumping Potions"

I decided to go take a look at FFXIV China's cash shop and give examples on what kind of content you can buy from them to boost your level. This way you will have an idea on what what version Yoshi-P is referring to in the interview.

So first off China FFXIV has pretty much the same things you would find in our cash shop, the only main differences are the China exlusive items (like the dress) and some of the exclusive holiday and Collectors edition items you can get from the NA/JPN version. for example, you can buy the 1.0 Gobuue mount in here (which is understandable since they never had a 1.0 version)

They have a Progression tab in the cash shop where you can buy multiple packages.

Quest Progression Packs.
And Various Job Packs.

Buying the Progression Pack will allow you to auto complete all mainstory quests below 3.0 giving you access to Heavensward content and ishgard instantly.

You also obtain 10 Silver Chocobo Feathers and 300,000 gil.

You can get a discount depending on how many main story quests you have completed before 3.0.

The Job Packs include 10 Seperate packs for each jobs before 3.0 (ninja included) so there is no Dark Knight, Astro, or Machinist Job Packs.

When you buy a Job Pack It will boost whatever job you picked to level 50.

You also obtain the following items and gil
200,000 gil
Ninja Quest Record (used to get your quest skills)
Item level 70 Weapon
10 Silver Chocobo Feathers

The China Cash shop uses Coupons as its currency (like how the NA cash shop uses Crysta) I'm not sure how much it costs per Coupon however since I would need to make an account on Shanda Games site in order to find out.

We can probably make comparison - their fantasia is 7000 coupons, and the upgrade package for each class is 8800 coupons, sort of the pricing structure.

I heard it is 1 yuan per 100 coupon but don't quote me for that XD!

If this is correct it would place the job jumps to level 50 at the price of $13.39 USD.

because that is what the China's demographic demands and how Chinese play their games. If you don't compete, you're out of the market. Just thought I will remind you that Chinese version of WoW and Guild Wars 2 is also VERY different.

The chinese game is not linked to ours and their gaming mentality is completely different. It's much closer to the korean mindset where they have subscription/game cards per set of hours and spend their time at the internet cafes playing games. They also have restrictions we don't like the casino aspect was changed and they don't have any skeleton mobs either.

First of all it's a different in chinese version of the game and SE doesn't have anything to do with that.

Shanda Game, not SE
And you have not meet players, who bought level 50, in our dungeons yet.
We play the global version from SE, chinese players the china version from Shanda Game.
