Returning Tank: What's up with all this melds now?

i220s above will want you to meld. You can't add primary stats to your LHS gear (main), that's only for the likes of Crits/Det/SkS/Accuracy. Accessories have the flexibility to get primary stats on the only guaranteed slot, so off that you go with the default Fending accessories and put 1 STR materia each depending on your budget. You can't add anymore Vit melds since they are all capped no matter what, unless if you go Slaying (highly not recommended).

Note: Crafted gear can have 5 melds each. Accessories still get 1 main stat slot, the rest will have to be secondaries.
