People just want to be special snowflakes. Why? Seriously asking.
What is negative about everyone having equal opportunity to obtain an in game item? It doesn't mean it has to be handed to us (Like raid weapons or Fenrir mount etc) but I fail to see the negative side of putting everything in the game globally. Personally I love when they put more items in game. Gives me something to do and work towards.
If it is about exclusivity that is what real life is for. Don't need to see that nonsense in an online game. As long as something is offered equally (even if its for a limited time) I would say that is perfectly acceptable.
US servers are long overdue for exclusives.
That's fine, but your point is irrelevant when they are already "localizing" emotes, gear and such from CN/KR servers.
♥ Baby, tell me, what's your motive? ♥
I always felt that those items were not made by our dev team... I mean TBH I feel that dress from China is ugly and doesn't look as nice as a lot of the gear we get >>; I am only considering getting the emote.
To be fair, this idea that, if there is demand they will consider adding it to the Mog Station, is a flawed premise. Until I saw this thread I wasn't aware there were region exclusive items that wouldn't become available over time. I didn't even know what the items were. I don't exactly go to the Chinese website and browse their things. I don't think I'm an atypical player either. How can players ask for something, if they don't know it exists?
I would gladly pay for the angel/demon outfit, for example. Or the red fenrir mount. Or really, almost everything up there.
You know, I really like you
I would also know why
Not being sarcastic or anything at all, it's a real question. I understand those against exclusivity cause i'm one of them (I'm some kind of a Care bear, everyone should be abble to have access to everything so we are all happy ^^") and I'de like to try and understand the other point of view.
Especially if you are part of the community that does not have access to it, why being against the opportunity to have access, throught wathever means, to something that others already have ?

People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.
I thought SE posted pictures showing them actually making the region exclusive stuff? Meaning all comes from one dev team.

You are correct, it all comes from the same developers, which means that the money that we (NA/EU/JP) are giving them through our subscription/payment for optional items via Mogstation are used to make those items and sold to the Chinese players. I understand that SE is company and it wants to make money, so why not release those items at the same time for the NA/EU/JP players?
I do wonder what the Japanese players are thinking about this, since one would assume that the Japanese players were going to be 1st to get certain stuff like how they did with the Maid Promotion. Personaly, I find it funny that they took the dance that a character in their upcomming expansion is doing in their trailer and instead of giving it us via a quest reward, they are going to sell it us.
