Quest flying mount issue

In both the moogle and Gundu quests involving flying there is a post targeting issue.

If you are flying and target and use your attack at an object above or below you your mound will fly in that direction when you begin flying again.

That sounds kinda complicated. So let me explain it a different way:

When i aim at an object below me and attack it my flying mount will now try to fly to the ground unless i keep hitting up. It will no longer fly straight on the same level I started at. No straight even flight. a downward angle.

And the reverse happens when i target something above me. I will fly into the upper barrier as opposed to just straight.

Also if it helps I am playing a Female elezen. I havent heard any of my FC or LS mates speak of this. None of them are female elezen. It might be a racial thing because of the way i am mounted. No idea.

Would this happen to be because your camera gets turned when you innitiate the dialogue from advancing the quest? If so, you just need to adjust your camera to an angle that makes your movement how you like it.
