Yeah not okay with this. Not getting the minions or glamour i can deal with but a unique mount? No that ain't right.

Does the community team forwards such messages to the Japanese team ? :x
I completely understand the necessity for exclusive items. However, I think it would be great if all servers could be able to purchase them on the Mog Station. That way there's still incentive since the items are exclusivly free in specific regions but people can still get the pretties they want and help support FFXIV. I think it's a win-win, and I'd buy that cheongsam in a heartbeat!
The fact is there is no reason we can't have it. SE made it, gave it to certain regions and not others. Said other regions are baffled as to why we can't have them as it's not veteran, pre-order, special edition, or legacy.
We just can't get them. So, we're asking for them.
And if you spend 5 minutes looking into the absolute mess that has become Europe getting the Maid and Butler costumes, you'd be angry about exclusives, too.
Actually, SE didn't make the mount. Correct me if I'm wrong but in China, FF14 is partnered with another dev team that works on China's version of ff14. I can't recall the companies name off the top of my head though. But all of their exclusive mounts/gear/minions and events are all from this one dev team. That's why China gets different things. That and China is a few patches behind us, they pay by the hour, and there are no undead monsters in their game.
want it!! puhlease
They do it to get people playing the game in those regions. If they just release it everywhere then it would be a market failure when it comes to advertisement. The game is doing fine here but can't say the same for Korea and China for the amount of other MMOs in those regions. I don't care for exclusives because its just comes down to it releases people use it for a week then you rarely see anyone use it anymore. Them having a mount doesn't make the game any different. I just don't understand this mentality of if someone else has something we mus have it as well. In the end its just pixels just deal with it and move on then you will realize you don't really need it when you forget about it.
From another thread on exclusives...Actually, SE didn't make the mount. Correct me if I'm wrong but in China, FF14 is partnered with another dev team that works on China's version of ff14. Very much this. They showed the development team working on things for the chinese version (behemoth boss in specific) during a tour of their work space at the SE HQ in Japan to the Chinese Media.
There is no developers for the KR or Chinese versions of this game. The same dev staff create all versions. The company that runs this game in China is simply a front company and marketing agent they have absolutely nothing to do with development. I am surprised just how much misinformation there is out there for the Chinese version.
Due to the recent interview with Naoki Yoshida I am in full support of resurrection of threads that have to do with exclusive regional content being globalized.
Finaland : You have started to add some exclusive items from the Korean and Chinese server. However, it’s only minions. Will you add the outfits and mount from these servers ? They are quite popular ! We want the flying supersonic cloud too !
Naoki Yoshida : We heard this feedback and because of this we’re trying to sell the China dress on MogStation for the Global version users like you.
If there are a lot of demands and requests, then we can look into it. So if you can write a lot of posts on forum then we can take that into account.
