For the time being, instead of offering an item that boosts character levels, remove the requirement of having completed the 2.0 MSQ up to Steps of Faith. The moment that they reach level 50, let them start progressing through Heavensward content.

That would be giving RMT 100% easy access to ruin and infest HW content just like they do with ARR content. The story gating which incorporates multiple hard level 50 dungeons and trials has stopped RMT getting it's claws into HW content. You will not find a RMT bot army anywhere in HW zones, you will not find an RMT city /say or /shout chat spammer in Ishgard either. Anyone who says otherwise is a liar unless they can here and now provide proof that RMT has managed to get past that gating which to-date no-one has. Proof that is not just a singular/individual legitimate player who decided to bot after manually working through that gating.

Then ask SE to improve this situation: locking a zone behind a story just to help with the botting situation is a very poor excuse.

RMT and botting is akin to fighting computer viruses. It's more reactionary than pre-cautionary when it comes to new ones. And you can never 100% get rid of them. For the moment, I'd settle for an easier, less time consuming means to report RMT & bots.

I asked you to prove what you claim if claimed RMT is already infesting HW zones. You have not. Just saying they have is not proof by any stretch of the imagination. I have yet to see any RMT bot army in HW zones and I have actively searched for them because of liars who claimed they had infested HW, not a SINGLE person has provided proof that they have and it is because the story gating which includes multiple hard dungeons and trials before can enter Ishgard and subsequent zones. The only 'RMT' bot armies will find are still in ARR zones and cities which is not the same as an occasional singular legitimate player who resorted to botting after manually working their way past the gating.

You don't have proof yet you claim it is me pretending? I am sorry but it is the other way around...you don't have proof because there is none to have. You pretend they are infesting HW zones because it would benefit your argument if they were but they are not. I have a hundred or more screenshots which prove they infest ARR zones but you cannot come up with a single one that proves they are infesting HW zones?

I asked you to prove your claim and back up your position with evidence if want to use that claim as justification to remove the gating, to give you a chance to prove me wrong on this but you have not done so however because you cannot...just like everyone else who made similar claims as you has not been able to do so in their attempts to add fictional weight to their positions. Your using a fallacy as a justification but have no evidence to back up that fallacy because there is none.

To be fair, you didn't have to use the level boost. The option for you to use it is available to jump into expansion content with your friend or to play the game from scratch.

And while we are at it...
I suppose, that we are supposed to ignore the fact there is a Cash shop (Cosmetic or no) in a Subscription based MMO too right? Like Seriously, lol no is EVER going to buy from that right guys? Right?


We all know if the Cash shop was successful (which it was), this will be too. and its going to start a whole host of new problems
