Is it really that deplorable to point out you shouldn't willingly seek out stress if you have a problem with it? Though, my return-sarcasm for Zepla probably met the standards of deplorable. What the OP stated about someone saying "kill yourself..." is pretty awful, and should be reported, but is that really so unexpected in a competitive scenario like PVP? Players get heated during competitions, and they say all sorts of hurtful things they may or may not truly mean. Pardon this analogy, but it's like someone allergic to bees wants to own bee hives and harvest delicious honey - they're going to get stung.

I'm not going to argue whether it was mature or not, but it sure reads logically. The internet offers some dangerous levels of stress, from toxic people, for those who cannot handle it. Also, I'm not the least bit surprised that users, yourself included, found my reply offensive. You immediately insinuate the worst, because I didn't show my undying support, for OP's imagined slights, with a bleeding heart. What I found even less surprising is you spoke of maturity and then attempted to attack me with my own post. Please, forgive me if I've offended your delicate state of mind; I mean no harm.

Jerks exist everywhere and in this day and age it's better to overcome your own low self-esteem instead of looking for a hugbox.

It's the harsher response but also the more honest one, white Knights won't always be there to protect you from harm.
