I just did the math. If you rely ONLY on the ARR beast tribes for your tokens (assuming you're at the right reputation) it would take 87 days to get them all.

So a maximum of 87 days. Less if you acquire them in other ways.

Hunts were the fastest way to obtain 80/80 (and the fastest way to complete most of the previous Relic stages in general.) Hunting let's you buy Unidentified items with three different forms of currency at the same time: Law, Poetics, and Allied Seals. However this greatly depends on the popularity of Hunts and how often the server is killing them so they respawn often.


Right now I highly recommend Aquapolis parties as well. Every Dragonskin map has a chance to drop Unidentified items. If you make a party with 4-5 people, and everyone gets two maps each, you can get quite a few of those items in an hour. Especially if you let that party know you are currently working on your Relic ahead of time (ie. posting that info in the party finder). More often than not, they will gladly Pass them to you. And you Profit nicely as well; Treasure Goblins alone practically pay for the parties maps by themselves.

So I have to spawn the map in order to get the item? I was talking with this about someone were planning to do maps with and they said I didnt have to?

My ARR tribes are unfortunately at level 1 and I think at this point it would be a huge loss to level them. S

People that say they did the 80 items casually in 3-5 weeks are lying or insane. I did two relics. I am aware of how long it takes(except I didn't do beast tribe). You get 1 esoteric item per day doing all your roulettes & half a poetics item. Doing hunts, a few maps, getting bonus clear tomes for coil & ex primals AND doing all my roulettes/Alexander, it took me from mid-late December to early-mid february. My second much more casual very little of anything second relic took from february to late may.

IF you also did 4 different Beast tribes you can get an extra 4 items per week(6 days rly)

But "casually" without any extra grinding & maybe some beast tribe there is no way it will take less than 2 months. (9-10 weeks)

What exactly are you farming more for the mats?

the loss of Beast tribe quests will set anyone back to 6 weeks or more on the 80 item progression as those quest also provide tomes as well.

Moogle Dailies also give more tokens at Rank 4 which is 2 tokens per quest which is 6 tokens per day resulting in 2 mats per week. If Moogle daily token reward is increased again at rank 8 into 3 tokens then Moogle dailies can provide 3 mats per week of player's choice as the 3.0 beast tribe tokens can be traded for any of the 4 mats.

The other beast tribe sadly do not get a token increase so each is stuck with 1 per week.
