Can someone please tell me the best way to grind out the Bones, Ores, Shells, Seeds?

I've been doing my roulettes every day, my Beast Tribes... But I only have like 18/80 items after like 4 weeks...

Nobody joins A1 runs in PF for bolts. Nobody runs A1 in the DF.

I've been catching hunts when they pop but thats 25 A ranks per item...

Other than that, I have no idea what else to do.. its going to take me months at this rate.

I would do all my roulettes, main, trial, leveling, 50, 60 and expert each day. In addition I did S rank hunts mostly but some others as well. In addition I would join clear groups for bonus tomes and I did two beast tribes, Vanu and the one in Southern Than. I didn't grind Alex at all.

How long did it take you? Thats pretty much what I've been doing :s. I've heard people saying that it took them 5 weeks doing it casually.

On topic:

I am still working on it but by my calculation it should be 2 to 4 weeks based on if you keep the 2 mats per day or go for the extra mile and gind tomes for extra mats per day.

4 weeks if you take 2 mats per day from using tomes with beast tribe providing the extra 3 or 4 per week .

less than 4 weeks if you grind extra tomes for the extra mats per day.

I actually made a calculation of a causal level grind for it being

Phase 3 is considered the longest one of the 5 current phases as it requires 80 unidentified materials each cost 680 tomes/10 Alex tokens/1000 hunt points so the tokens would help people progress through this a bit fast as the current cost of each 80 mat a casual level effort would be 2 per day (40 day total to complete if only obtain 2 tokens per day). HQ mats maybe put in once the content reach a point where people hardly craft them anymore due to Anima being out of date such as in 4.0 new Relic/Anima/??? weapons.

perform daily roulette with a few extra DF runs should give you 2 mats per day resulting in 14 mats per week.

beast tribe should add in a extra 3 or 4 per week.

which makes a easy 17 to 18 per week.

If you hardcore grind tomes then you can increase it to 3 or 4 mats per day base on your luck with bonus tomes.

This would yield 24, 25, 29, or 30 mats per week.

Moogle dailies will be the idea as they give more tokens with high rank and at rank 4 they give 6 tokens per day which will only take 3 days to get the 18 tokens which would increase your mat from beast tibe per week to 4 or 5 per week.

Increasing the amount to 25, 26, 30, or 31 mats per week.

This would result in atleast between 2 to 4 weeks to get all 80 mats.

Doing roulettes (and I mean ALL of them) + beast tribes
every 6 days I got the poetics ones with poetics + beast tribes I got 3 each. it was 2 bones and 2 ores with poetics and 1 bone and 1 ore with BT (i was doing just the new tribes)
and same I did with esos got every 6 days 3 each. 3 shells and 3 seeds bought with esoterics.

Hunts were the fastest way to obtain 80/80 (and the fastest way to complete most of the previous Relic stages in general.) Hunting let's you buy Unidentified items with three different forms of currency at the same time: Law, Poetics, and Allied Seals. However this greatly depends on the popularity of Hunts and how often the server is killing them so they respawn often.


Right now I highly recommend Aquapolis parties as well. Every Dragonskin map has a chance to drop Unidentified items. If you make a party with 4-5 people, and everyone gets two maps each, you can get quite a few of those items in an hour. Especially if you let that party know you are currently working on your Relic ahead of time (ie. posting that info in the party finder). More often than not, they will gladly Pass them to you. And you Profit nicely as well; Treasure Goblins alone practically pay for the parties maps by themselves.

So I have to spawn the map in order to get the item? I was talking with this about someone were planning to do maps with and they said I didnt have to?
