Oh god no, I totally agree it should not be that. Leveling in this game is fairly easy as it is and I'm sure the vast majority of us would prefer it stays as is. XI had a punishingly slow level grind until Abyssea. People actually demanded gil for you to park your character there and go afk in their party to level you up.
what deep dungeon?
Palace of the Dead, Furiea.
At least Abyssea had interesting content.
Deep Dungeon leveling has been said to be completely independent to all other leveling. BUT, seeing how they went back on personal housing prices/plots being separate from FC housing... ... ...
it will be an alternate means of levelling up, and also will provide comparable gear to lower tier tome gear when powered up fully, supposedly

By the way, will experience you obtain in the dungeon be reflected outside?
Yoshida: For experience you obtain in the dungeon, you'll get some amount reflecting that outside. So you can use this as a resource for experience while you level up. Of course, it won't directly reflect the leveling up that happens in the dungeon.
So, I dont really know how abyssea worked i never played 11, but im guessing it was some content you could power level through, and that was easy and fast? according to this, hitting 60 in deep dungeon might get you to like level 30 or so im guessing, from 15. this is a guess, although this sounds similar to your complaint, it looks like its been stated that its an alternative way to level and gear an alt class.

thanks.
well.. looks like Rift from Diablo 3. I don't know why they need to make people "relevel" on a separate system.
no one likes to start from square one.
1. high level players will progress low level dungeon faster/easily and get to higher tier OR just give them direct access to higher level.
2. low level players should be able to gain actual level of the deep dungeons as they progress.
3. high level players prob don't want to play with low level players because of skill gaps. and I personally would be damned if I have to tell someone how they need to get out of the orange/yellow circle or how they need to use Sword Oath.
p.sp I don't like to PVP becasue of the "PVP skill set" ... too lazy to learn..

im under the impression itd take around 3 hours straight to get to the final floor, and by that time you should hit level 60, so...not too bad...for high level players the main reward would probably be the set of weapon and armor you upgrade each time you enter, being an alternative to lore /midan/mhach gear? for underlevelled chars 3 hours to hit 60 is just too fast imo, wouldnt you agree? but maybe 2 - 5 levels of exp wouldnt be awful.thanks.

Also from the interface the gear itself doesnt seem to have an item level, it would be weird if you couldnt use it after the first entry until you hit a level appropriate to don it again, so im wondering how the level req for the finished product is supposed to look
