Jobs with pets hotbar glitch

After patch 3.3, without anything changed in settings, for jobs with pets such as SMN and SCH, the hotbar 1 will change to pet's hotbar after getting down from a tribe quest mount.

The hotbar 1 which is replaced by tribe quest mounts' hotbar doesn't resume after I dismount. Instead, my pet's hotbar shows up and I have to roll it back to my orignial hotbar 1.

This only happens when a pet is activated. Also, own mounts are all good, only the mount for tribe quests (both Vath and Vanu) will cause the problem.

Switching out of bird form in Midas A5/A5S also causes same problem. I suppose this is a BUG.

Posted the same issue in the wrong forum because I open too many tabs at once while half-asleep, and I've also seen multiple posts about this pop up on the FFXIV Subreddit.

For me at least, the issue actually affects any Special Pet / Mount Pet (whatever the official term is), I was having the same issue when trying to ride Chocobo Porters, use cannons in Castrum Meridianum, and control Magitek Armor in Praetorium when playing SMN or SCH.

Setting a hotkey to change to Hotbar 1 works as a temporary fix (or a macro: /hotbar change 1).

(not to mention launching the game is always in windowed mose now no matter what my actual selection is ughh)

I think there is a 'fix' to this issue this morning?

From update notes: "An issue wherein if a player sets their ”Pet Hotbar Auto-display Settings (Character Config > Hotbar Settings)” to ”Display both pet hotbar and hotbar 1,” the system would not swap the hotbar back to hotbar 1 after the auto-display situation has ended."

It got fixed during the latest maintenance.
