90002 errors exclusively in residential zones

Edit: I had a thread about it earlier here, which was moved to resolved issues... while it wasn't. No one even responded to it. Bad mods for moving it to where it doesn't belong :P:P:P

    Hey guys!

I've been having this problem for quite a few months now and I've been looking through the forums extensively. I found many other people with 90002 errors, meaning we have a client-sided error that disconnects them. This much I know. However, I've been having this in a very peculiar way.

I only, and literally only for these past several months, have been getting the 90002 error followed by a DC while I'm in residential zones. It doesn't matter which one - Beds, Goblet, Mists have all had it. With exclusively I literally mean exclusively and I'm talking about many hundreds of the error 90002 disconnects over several months of playing while in there. I've never had the problem in any other location in-game.

What happens, and why I'm getting a 90002 error, is that my entire connection is broken. It's not a time-out though, my connection is instantly force-kicked from my PC. One moment I am getting or sending a chat message in-game, and half a second later I can get kicked off instantly (verified by people telling me they recieved something from me half a second before my connection died). When I rightclick on my connection and search for problems it shows that it has an invalid IP configuration, which is quite a generic description for a bunch of possible problems. Often it stays this way for a little while too if I don't do anything (think 30s-1min).

Of course this gave me some handles to work with. I've set up static IP adresses for example, in case there is an IP conflict, but to no avail. This was double-checked by turning off WiFi and having only my PC hooked up by wire to the modem. My connection is still getting the kicked with the error.

I've checked for the lastest firmware for both my modem and my networkcard and still getting the error, though both are several years old now. I've also tried turning off everything else that may be using my connection on my PC, like my browser with many open tabs and any other programs running, to no avail. I've run multiple virus-, trojan- and malware scanners to see if this could be it, but nothing was found. However, I found out I can usually quickly get reconnected when I literally unplugg the network wire from the back of my PC and back in after 5s or so, as if re-initiallizing my connection. Suddenly it works again. (still getting the dreadful "you're still logged in" screen though, which is annoying as hell).

The utterly strange part is, as mentioned above, that it exclusively happens to me in the residential zones (Lavender Beds, Mists, Goblet). I can stay afk the entire day anywhere else and have no problems, but in housing zones I will almost always DC at least once a day with this connection problem. It's making me think something in the residential zones is somehow overloading or bugging out my modem or network card, if that's even possible. I thought it may be a graphic problem, but it seems incredibly unlikely that causes network problems like I have. Besides, I'm running a GTX 970 here with the latest drivers and I haven't been able to find any similar documented problems as mine regarding the card.

So does anyone have this problem exclusively to the housing zones as well, or am I the only one here? Is it even possible a residential zone could somehow bug out my network card or modem? I was thinking it just might, seeing as there is so many player-placed objects to keep track of in the near surroundings. If anyone knows this problem, please respond as well, so devs know about it. If anyone has managed to solve it, or at least can explain to me what's happening, that would be great. I'm running out of ideas here and it's highly frustrating I cannot stay reliably in residential zones. Sometimes it's fine for some hours, other days I get disconnected there multiple times per hour. I always DC there at some point though.

    Thanks!
