    Planned Power Outages as Reported by BBC

    BBC News is reporting that TEPCO (the power company in Japan) has announced planned power outages in Japan until the beginning of April (these are known as rolling blackouts or mandatory rolling blackouts in the US). I am guessing it these blackouts that have prompted SE to shut down service, as much as it is a desire to help their nation. Though SE has said "a week or more," TEPCO's announcement might shed a little light on what we can expect so I thought I would throw this out there.

    I guess I can't complain, since I don't have the time to play for the upcoming couple of weeks regardless. But yeah, some of my initial thoughts when I logged on the boards the other day I was about whether or not SE servers would be affected.
    I hope they get power back up and stable soon though, for everyone's sake.

    So it seems like more than a week? maybe? Kinda sucks though..Stopped playing XIV for about a month then soon as I get back on mother nature had to be a bitch...Hope people in japan is doing good though and everything gets back in order.

    oh in local news a bus accident happen on a high way. 12+ ppl died.
