[GM] Please take notice. Make statement on housing.

I'd like to take some time out from crafting and grinding the new relic to settle the great debate lately of whether buying/selling housing/FCs is against the Terms of Service. I have heard mixed things about it and would like an official statement from a GM. Screenshots and tells are easily manipulated as we can see in this thread: Here

I received this message from Support in game. I believe it's proof enough, but others will need a bit more convincing. If a GM would please, make a statement it would be greatly appreciated. With the ongoing war of housing demolition, people are buying houses cheap and then selling them for insane amounts. This is becoming a HUGE problem on every server. Please, there needs to be a clear statement for all to see.

But that doesn't exactly solve the whole "Can I sell my house for gil" debate for some. People literally want a GM to say, "No you cannot sell your house for gil in-game".. Which is why I have posted on the forums in hopes that maybe some clarity will help those who are confused even though there are screenshots of proof floating around. Some were faked, some were not.

That's not what is being discussed here. Like me, there are other who want to know with 100% certainty that buying and selling land and FCs is against the TOS.

Not seeing it in the official ToS, unless you want to call it disrupting others' gameplay. If you want to go down that road, any MB listing, FATE group, hunt party, etc could fall into the category.

If it were against the ToS, people would be warned/banned for posting auctions in the party finder. This is merely an fight club-esque, "we don't talk about it". Do I think the devs like it? Nope. But they won't actually do anything unless you attempt to rip someone off. It's no different then people selling carries for their Anima weapon.

I was told it's considered inappropriate behavior, and could possibly be under scamming. The point is to get a GM to clarify what exactly, to a T, is against TOS dealing with all aspects of housing.
