I for one don't want any new abilities I would have no idea where to put them and just know it'll cause alot of problems for us controller users. I do not want a hotbar filled with unused abilites and neither do I want rotations to be rediculously long and even more constricting tyvm.
MCH could be helped by merging skills like Dismantle and Rend Mind though.

Just add new jobs, and improve the old ones with new traits.![]()
I'd settle with a reworking of some of the jobs with fewer skills/traits being introduced, rather than another 5 skills being added (contributing to the bloat). There's quite a few abilities on each job that does nothing to add to depth of gameplay (gauss round and DwaD for example) or takes up a slot when it shouldn't (all deliverance abilities and FnC/WT), on top of BRD and MCH being in a tricky situation with their design, especially BRD with WM.

already 3 hot fars full gonna clutter my screen soon >_<
A easy way would be to make it so a skill transforms in a certain condition. An example, using Heavy thrust gives 15%, but when you do crit damage, your Heavy Thrust skills changes icon and instead of 15% dps buff, you get 15% crit buff.
This way we do get new skills, but they will not take more space.

All I want is AST to get an instant AOE heal. Hell, they could even make their PVP skill Retrogradation into a PVE skill.

If they do add more active skills, then keyboard players will definitely have to get used to hotbar switching (something controller players have been doing aplenty all along).
That said, I don't think SE's dumb enough not to realise that adding another 5+ skills to every job is simply asking for trouble. Some jobs are still fairly straight-forward, but if they tell me to give my SCH another five buttons to press, I'm out. I'm thinking new traits, different combo paths and more procs (because procs are always fun) is the way to go.

I wonder what summoner will get after 60 since we already have Bahamut super powers lol, maybe the power of the Warring Triad ?![]()
I don't have a problem with hotbars at all, my concern is about class gameplay changing on every expansion. Maybe they should go back to their 1 job skill every 5 levels and add traits inbetween.
