Level 50+ questions

There is quite a reasonable amount more after Ultima and before HW, it contains a new main story line before HW called the 'Astral Era' and also the lead up to entering HW and why you go there etc. That story is a very good story line and I think you will enjoy it. MSQ is continued all the way through to HW and beyond so you won't need to avoid side quests per se because you would actually have to go out of your way to do those in the first place. You can just continue MSQ like normal, side quests and relic are all optional anyways and same with raid unlocks (Coil and Crystal Tower)...do them whenever you want whether at 50 or at 60 it's up to you.

If want to keep check on which stage of MSQ your on and what one is next, you can also use SE's own database which lists all the MSQ. I am not sure which one your up to but can use these to help figure out which ones are next. The Ultimate Weapon quest is the prequel to all of these ones listed below and that one is part of this MSQ list (http://eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...=5&category3=1). Everything up to and including the Ultima (Ultimate Weapon) quest is part of the 'Umbral Era' main quest line, after it comes the 'Astral Era' main quest line then 'Heavensward' quest line then 'Dragonsong War' quest line. The Relic and raids like Crystal Tower, Coils and level 50 EX mode trials etc are all side quests though and not part of the MSQ so just do those whenever you want.
