Be careful with this. For some games you can browse through, make sure amazon is the seller, add it to your cart and then from the cart check the product page to make sure the promo is listed before buying. This is a very sloppy promotion. They need a page for eligible games that locks you into amazon doing the selling & shipping. I just bought Final Fantasy III for the DS. Got an order confirmation but no code so far.

I don't think pre-orders actually work unless the game is released during the promotion period, as codes get sent AFTER your order is shipped.

No they work. They've always worked for these promos. ALWAYS. All the E3 announced preorders with no release date are eligible and obviously aren't released until many months from now but you will get a code.

There isn't a promotion page on Amazon. They just list XIV's promotion under "Promotions and Special Offers" on various Video Game-related product pages.

It's on the video game section, best bet is to pre-order a game from the E3 section as they have the promo. Should say "Spend $19.99 or more in the Amazon Video Games Category to receive six exclusive in-game items for "Final Fantasy XIV." You will receive your code by email within 2 business days." under special offers and promotions

I pre-ordered Horizon: Zero Dawn for it. Can't wait(for the game at least, the code is just bonus as I was gonna pre-order anyways)
