Lol, had the same problem. Right now, I'm trying to decide between Tales from the Borderlands and The Raven: Legacy of a Master Thief.

I had the same issue. I don't really like preordering because of how many games have had issues at launch lately, and not really much else interested me enough or was discounted enough. However, I caved and preordered Battlefield 1. I figure I like the series and I'll have a chance to try the beta and see if it has enough issues to justify canceling. 20% preorder discount with prime doesn't hurt either. I also ordered Doom (same day shipping ) from my sister's account so that I could get a second code for my fiance. Was nice to see the 33% discount on it.

I ended up pre-ordering Detroit: Become Human because I've been interested in that game for years now when it was first shown off with that tech demo. Is it actually confirmed that Pre-Orders work for this promotion? Because if not I will buy Dark Souls 2 for PS4 since it's $19.99 right now.
