In-Game Auditions for "I Want to Be Your Canary"

If you haven't seen it in shout or Party Finder, we're looking for folks who are interested in performing in our adaptation of Final Fantasy IX's "I Want to Be Your Canary" at our stage!

• There is no voiceover component, only in-game abilities, text, and emotes.
• Actors' lines, emotes, and abilities will generally be put in macros.
• We are utilizing the orchestrion for background music.
• We will be doing a month or two of rehearsals, and performing in the fall.
• Our plan is to do 3 or 4 performances, generally on a weekend when everyone's free.
• You don't have to have any experience!
• There are lots of crew positions available as well!

(1) Macro two (2) 30~60 second monologues using movement, text, and emotes, and (2) either incorporate a transform sequence into one of the monologue, or prepare a separate magic transformation sequence in addition to the two monologues. (The 'transform' sequence does not have to be complex like the ones in the video.)

I'd love to audition but I'm not on your server. How many people you got so far?

We have 7 or so preparing auditions for this week, and a handful so far interested for crew, but we can always use more! Nobody's been cast yet so it's still open. Alt characters are absolutely welcome too if you'd like to get on Diabolos.

Main reason we ask for a bit of extra effort for auditions is we want to make sure those who are in it are truly in it. Nothing hurts more than a lead role walking away a week before the show. We've been doing server-wide events for a while now and already there's been a huge audience response (most tells in-game I get are asking for show dates and getting excited for it.)

One of my neighbors turned me on to this last night. I went and visited the venue. You certainly have put a lot of work into it! I'm too busy irl to participate but I'm hoping I can see the final act!
