Trying to make FFXI DNC AF2 Glamour: Any tips?

Hey guys, been leveling NIN lately with the sole goal of trying to make a Dancer glamour happen but could use some tips. Here is an image for reference:



I was gonna use the Jambiyas as daggers, the blue oldrose for the headgear, but then after that I'm struggling a bit since I'm not as familiar with the breadth of options ROG/NIN has. Metallic Gold Hand-Ring-bands of some sort?

The shirt is probably the hardest obviously and will require the most compromise, but thanks for the help!

For guys the Thavnarian Bolero I thought was probably the closest body wise.... except it has that waist band and sarong on the side that DNC AF in FFXI doesn't have. But if you can live with that then that is probably the best match you'll be able to get I'm afraid. Sadly though it doesn't seem anything like the FFXI DNC AF body design currently exists in FFXIV, so you'll have to improvise if you're wanting to make a glamour based on it.

Leg and feet are probably easier to find a match for - any low level tights like Cotton Tights would suffice for legwear, and Hard Leather Caligae for footwear would be a very close match, all dyed of course. So yeah it's really just the body piece that would be the problem.

I think the gambler's trousers/boots would probably be a pretty close match. as for the top on NIN glamour your closest might be saurian shirt of striking.

ummm yah Gamblers legs, some old sandel roman-style feet like what u see the NPC's wear in Ul'Dah, probably 1 of the "ring band" hands & maybe the wrist item from Midas NM (since its gold) clueless on the chest but the Thanavarian bust (the non-fem only 1) does sound very close thou I am not sure what the new EX dungeon gear looks like for NIN so check that too possibly (if using a fem avi the Oasis chest from Gold Saucer might also match)

Thanks for the tips guys. Right now it's looking something like this:




Like expected, the shirt is the most frustrating part. The caligae feet were a good choice as were the gambler's pants. The midas bracelets do really help that bangle feel with the Thav hands too.

Unofortunately dying the shirt meant I lost the blue, but the tan was clashing with the black on the other parts pretty badly. Still a work in progress, but I definitely feel more dancery than ninja at this point.
