In-House Bulletin Board (Hunts, Market Board)

Part of the allure of housing is a close(r) proximity to the Market Board. But, as-is, I can mend, shop (a little), call upon my retainer, etc. in my house, but I have to leave it to go to a Market Board. Honestly? I just want my house to have it all.

Has anyone proposed an in-house item such as a generic bulletin board? This board would have the option to be both access to the Market Board and also act as a hunt pickup spot. I'd love my house to be somewhat of a private haven - craft, buy mats, call my retainer, etc.

For those of you who play SWTOR (or have played, avoid the salt and SWTOR bashing), you can access their auction house from your own ship, which is just, well, amazing.

There'd be no more bickering about proximity to a market board, your house bulletin board would be the Eorzen Amazon.com, and so much more. Also, allow knocking on your door to let people in.

It's my understanding that house value can change based on proximity to a market board. It's not that people 'complain' about it, but rather it's kind of a let-down when you have to play a rat maze to get to a MB after you leave your house since you had to buy the furthest lot away.

Houses nearest the market board are generally the most desirable.

You could just teleport to Limsa Lominsa like most people do, it's the quickest port-to-market there is in most cases.

This was asked for before and the dev response basically said if they do this the wards will be dead because there won;t be a reason to be outside. Also they worry the server load would be too much (like the partial name search function).

If we got housing Market Board items I would never have to leave my house and I'm okay with that.
