    True, but a single M4 run only takes about 10 minutes at most. I've done M4 a total of 14 times for a weapon for my drk and my drg. I logged in tuesday, did it in about 10 minutes then I just kept myself busy until the next tuesday rolled around. It's not a huge grind or a time sink, it's just 10 minutes once a week in less than two months.

    I can't check atm but my fc mate mentioned that you can exchange tomestone (aka i230) with wiping city drop ?

    You don't see the problem with having to wait nearly 2 months to "catch up" to the current patch contents when in the third month an entirely new patch with more content and higher gear requirements is going to come out, no one is "learning" the current fights anymore and you may have more than one job you need a new weapon for?

    For Jewelry and Armor, yes. For weapon no. This thread is about weapons.

    None of this would be an issue if they would SLOW DOWN on that silly ilvl increase.

    In a game that allows multiple jobs it's designed horribly for multiple jobs.

    The ilvl cap for combat equipment has been 240/245 since February, and it's going to stay that way for some time yet, as 3.3 is still fresh. How slow do you want SE to be?

    It's the heavy time gating of stuff that makes multiple jobs harder to gear up. (Weekly tome caps, weekly loot lockout...etc.)

    I get that SE wants to artificially slow raid progression when raids are newly released, but I don't see any reason why they can't raise the weekly cap for the capped currency some months after the races have died down. Like right now, why can't the Lore cap be upped 1.5-2x? What damage would it cause?

    I don't really care about the lore cap, though I would appreciate an increase. But that i210 relic step should have been nerfed to the ground by now. ><;
