Need help choosing PC for FFXIV

I'm looking to buy a new PC that will run FFXIV smoothly at 60fps.

This is the PC I'm looking at

Will it be able to do it? I'm not very tech savvy, particularly when it comes to hardware and I've spent about six hours trying to learn more and so far I've learned this pc meets the recommended requirements.

I'm upgrading because we just had a flood and my PC's USB ports are dead so I have to use the On-Screen-Keyboard to type everything T_T

EDIT: My current Gaming setup is an Acer Aspire 5755 Laptop that is on its last leg. I get 2-15 FPS on absolute Bottomed out graphics.

    Short answer, yes it will.
I've personally never tested that graphics card, but specs wise seems it'll perform great even on max settings.
    Found this benchmark: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FF3OCN4-X_Q

I'm sure you could get a 950gtx for that price, specially if you custom built it. But this pc will definitely do what you want of it.
Also, since you'll be upgrading from a laptop, consider you'll need to pair this new pc with a monitor, speakers, keyboard and mouse.

    Lala4Life!

Thank you so much for the quick reply! ^_^

I hadn't thought about the monitor or speakers, butthe keyboard and mouse shouldn't be a problem. Any recommendation for a monitor? I don't want something tiny, but I know next to nothing about Monitors.

This is a great guide for picking a monitor for your budget

The Acer R240HY is great in terms of price/performance. Acer also has cheaper models. Thought they're nothing amazing in terms of image quality, they're good for starters, or for those not too picky.
If you have a Bestbuy store nearby I'd recommend checking their displays section so you can personally test them

Thanks! You've been incredibly helpful, you give our community a good name! Do you happen to have a recommendation for a keyboard as well? I have a Logitech G700s Mouse that I'm in love with but my keyboard got ruined in the flood T_T

Looking at that PC, the game will run decently, but I wouldn't count on 60 FPS at Max settings. It will run between 40-60 on medium if I had to wager a guess. Definitely more than your laptop, so you'll probably do very well with it.

A couple of settings that will go a long way with those specs are "Low Detail Objects in Distance (LOD)" as well as setting the amount of players around you to "Normal" or under. That will lighten the overall load on the CPU in towns and the GPU out in the world. If you don't really care about 60FPS and are ok with 30+ you can probably disregard that.
