Why is Nidhogg's Rage not in Raid Finder?

I understand it's not actually a raid but if we're being really specific, Weeping City isn't in Raid Finder either... It would make a lot of sense for the non-DF 8-mans to be placed into RF for the patch that they are introduced in, and moved to DF when a new 8-man trial comes out.

The issue that RF was trying to solve was the fact that some servers simply did not have the PF population to be able to clear the harder content without a static. Now that only Savage is in RF, it creates the same issue, but with Nidhogg's Rage. I'm not even saying that you should be forced to do Nidhogg farms with only randoms in RF instead of partying up with people, but if you know competent people that have been past towers, you could grab those friends and queue for practice in RF at Phase 3 or so. A lot of good work went into Raid Finder and it is not seeing as much use as it could with this duty missing from it.

Because primals are not classified as a raid content. and it is designed for savage due to the population jumping servers to try and get groups for a clear.

While classification of raid is one thing, I'd have hoped the raid finder would have alleviated specifically the difficulty of finding a group for content that requires full party to enter. Getting a party through party finder falls short for such things as party role unbalance. There can be two to five groups open at a time with various party members. Joining one just to find out they can't find a missing tank while there would be another group that's having just a spot for healer and not necessarily enough dps to go for all. Yes even with raid finder the disparity would stay, but it would take away the moral dilemma of party hopping by having everyone in the same queue. And hopefully having a pool of few servers it'd smooth out a bit.

In short, please make the raid finder include all the content that can accept only full parties through DF.

I do agree that any content that requires a full party to queue for should be in the raid finder. if it is in the DF, and does not need a full party, you make the choice of PF and wait, or queue and find w/e joins. if you need a full party, your only option is PF and hope your server has someone to fill it in. Yes it not as hard as savage, but the same limitation that savage had for people (maybe a little less because no loot lockouts) to fill in is there for Ex primal til it is in the DF for normal queues

Speaking of raid finder, has anyone had luck with it? Any time my static has tried, we've given up after waiting around for a DPS and gone back to PF. Maybe people were just doing new content too much and it's better now, but we've gone to PF by default.

I haven't looked at it yet but might this weekend. The first thing I looked for was Nidhogg Ex and was extremely disappointed that it wasn't in there. The majority of PF on my server are all farms now and the few learning pts I got into fell apart after 1-2 pulls because no one can handle running a content with a team for more than a pull or two. I feel like Raid Finder can bridge this gap. I know SE wants to encourage people to play with others on the server but the reality is that it isn't really working for players who are catching up or just joining.

Then I suppose that they shouldn't have added the practice\phase\etc to the raid finder. I wonder why they did that?

I think you grossly misinterpret the purpose of the Duty Finder. It's for people who can't raid on a schedule, not for players who have already put all content on farm.
